I am sure we aren’t the only ones who lovingly refer to our grandpas as “Papa.” I went through a phase of calling my own dad “Papa” because I watched a little too much “Little House on the Prairie” growing up… but that’s neither here nor there. Now my kids call their grandpas “Papa,” which…
Are you still on the hunt for something easy for your kiddos to hand out to their friends and classmates this Valentine’s Day? I’ve got you covered. I figure I’ve still got another year or two before my daughter realizes that they make and sell Princess Valentines, at which point my opinion will no longer…
It was 2 1/2 years ago when my husband and I switched over to the cash envelope system to help us stay on budget. We are still going strong, although I can’t say we are sticklers. We both still carry credit cards and I often forget to bring my envelopes with me when I go…
I’ve had an awesome & very busy Christmas season in my shop. Thank you to everyone who purchased Christmas cards, stationery, artwork and other goodies from me – I can’t tell you how much it means to me to have your support! With Valentine’s Day almost here, the race is on for every mom to gather up Valentines to pass out in class for each child. My daughter is in preschool, therefore I can still decide what she gives out and don’t have to succumb to the over-priced, hideous Dora/Princess/*insert random character name here* Valentines sold in stores. Thank God.
Mom and Pop is graciously giving one reader their 101 Set, which includes lessons for both Portraits 101 and Camera 101 (a $99 value). It is a combined set that will teach you the basics of using your camera (ISO, mode, White balance, etc.) and well as some tips for how to get the perfect portrait (including an all-important lesson on proper lighting) – essential for any mom trying to snap some pro shots of her kids (aren’t we all??).
