I’m getting in the mood for Halloween (can you tell with all the Halloween posts I’ve been doing lately??), so I thought I’d share some photos of my “haunted” (or not so much) house. Here’s a peek at what’s going on in my home:
I made this super-simple table runner with black fabric and strips of burlap.
The stand was made from a silver tray and candlestick from the dollar store. The pumpkin on the right is a craft pumpkin that I painted a spiderweb on.
I saw this candy corn bunting on Etsy last year and made my own version from felt.
Since I don’t have a mantel, I do most of my seasonal decorating in my small entry way where this window hangs.
The bunting was made from rectangular pieces of black fabric and burlap, wrapped around twine. The trick or treat printable is from here, and the Halloween checklist is from here. The owl and “31” printables are available here.
I also printed some vintage Halloween postcards and taped them to the window. You can find them here.
Last year I bought some straws from the Dollar Tree that had skeletons on them; I took them apart and glued the skeleton pieces to candlesticks instead.
