You guys, I am over the moon about the fact that fall is here. Like, weirdly excited.
I think it’s because now that we are in Colorado instead of California, I get to experience a true fall season. The temperature has already dipped, the nights are chilly and the leaves are starting to turn a golden yellow.
I go to bed dreaming of pumpkin patches and apple picking and often smell the faint hint of banana bread in my nostrils – see what I mean? Weird.
I just recently developed a love for minestrone soup. I’m not sure what took me so long, but I’ve finally come around. I think I may have had a bad experience with minestrone soup in my childhood… I have a faint memory of a dry minestrone soup mix in my mother’s cupboard, and I think it was not a pleasant meal.
