Christmas always brings its gift-buying challenges. Like what to buy for the lady who sits in the cubicle next to you that you chat with about your respective dogs, but you can’t remember her husband’s name (although, you do know her dog’s name). Or maybe you’ve got a list of several people that you need…
Mom deserves the very best, don’t you think? Yes, I’m mostly saying that because I’m a mom. BUT STILL. You know how I love me some handmade gifts. And every time I turn around there are more awesome ideas floating around the internet for DIY gifts for mom. So I’ve rounded up some of my…
I always like to give at least one handmade gift from the kids to our parents for Christmas. But how many coasters with my kids’ faces plastered on them do they really need? So I try to find some out of the box gifts to create for them that they might actually enjoy (like some…
I’m not gonna lie, I was pretty impressed with myself this Valentine’s Day. I came up with a great gift idea for the mister after seeing something similar on Pinterest. What resulted was a year full of fun activities for us to do together that would be a mix of new experiences, familiar date nights…
While searching for ideas on what handmade gifts I could give some friends and family members this Christmas, I saw an article on decorating notebooks in an old Family Fun magazine. As Christmas draws near, I’ve got gifts for teachers on the brain. If you’ve read this post from last June, you already know that I am notorious for forgetting to pre-plan teacher gifts and end up scrambling the night before. I promised myself that this year I would get on the ball, so I am starting now! I’ve got one week of school left before my daughter is out for Christmas, so I am really ahead of the game compared to last year.
I’m either an awesome, crafty parent or a really crappy one. It depends on how you look at.
I made a bunch of DIY gifts for Mia’s Preschool teachers this year, and while I got “ooo’s” and “ahhh’s,” from them and “how do you find the time?”, only I knew that I had whipped them up last minute and DIYing was the best I could come up with…
