Still scrambling for a Mother’s Day gift to give mom on Sunday? Don’t fret, I’ve pulled together some great last-minute ideas that will make you look like you actually planned ahead!
Some you can make at home, and others will require a quick trip to a local store. Either way, there’s still time to make mom feel special!
Here are some of my favorite last-minute Mother’s Day gift ideas:
Last-Minute Mother’s Day Gift Ideas:
1. Mother’s Day Necklace, $68 from Anthropologie
What mom wouldn’t love this gorgeous necklace? I’m kind of thinking of buying one for myself… is that wrong?
2. Free printable recipe cards from The Social Home
This simple, cost-effective gift is still super thoughtful! Print out these free cards on cardstock, cut them out, and wrap them up with some twine. If you want to get crazy, throw in some dish towels, wooden spoons, or some of your own favorite recipes.
3. Mom’s Guide to great photos photography class, only $19 from Mom and Pop Photo
If you know a mom who wants to learn how to take better photos of her family, this gift is perfect! The classes come as a .pdf file, so mom can learn when she has time. It’s full of great info for a beginner, including illustrations and sample photos, which make learning easy. I highly recommend it.
4, Mother’s Day movie night, free printables from Martha Stewart
Give mom a special night with a movie of her choice. Print these movie tickets and maybe include a DVD and some popcorn in the package. Mom can either watch the movie on her own (time away is always a great gift!), or you can have a family movie night.
5. DIY succulent watering can
This DIY planter only took me about 15 minutes to make and cost me $1 (I purchased the mini watering can at the Dollar Tree, and already had succulents, dirt, and skewers on hand). Get the free printable “Thanks for helping me grow tag” and instructions here.
6. The gift of time: Plan a Mother-Daughter date
If you don’t have time to run out and get mom a gift, why not give her the gift of time? Every mom loves spending time with her kids; especially once they are grown and out of the house. This post has some great ideas for mother-daughter dates to plan with mom.
7. Marie Pedestal Cake Plate (currently 25% off) $17.49 at World Market
The perfect gift for the mom who’s a great hostess, loves to bake, or just loves pretty things!
8. Printable Artwork, $varies, from my Etsy shop
Purchase some printable and download immediately. Print at home or send it to a local one-hour photo printer, then pick up a frame and you’re done!
