Hopefully you were able to catch some of the “Capture the Little Moments” series here on the blog last month. I had a great time featuring some of my favorite photographers, sharing their knowledge with you and participating in a month-long photo challenge that produced some awesome, memorable photographs.
Every holiday seems like a whirlwind, and by the time you remember to pick up your camera, the kids are just about ready for bed (at least that’s what always happens to me). I find it super helpful to have a checklist handy before going into the day so that I will remember to get some decent photos BEFORE the kids are covered in food and dirt and I looked disheveled and drooled on.
With a new camera lens and a new baby in the house, I’ve been snapping pictures like crazy. I had several poses I wanted to try with Lincoln, and spent a few different afternoons torturing him by placing him in ridiculous positions. Poor baby!
