We are preparing to hop on a plane with our two kids, and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a little nervous. My almost-three year old isn’t one for sitting still…

In the shop: Printable Christmas cards
Figured out what you’re doing for Christmas cards yet? I prefer printable cards; they cost way less than ordering through a company and you don’t need to think so far in advance about getting them done because of shipping time (I tend to procrastinate!). I’ve come up with 2 new Christmas cards designs for my Etsy shop, and there are more to come!
Win “TinkerBell” on Blu-ray!
I think it’s high time for a giveaway! Since Christmas is coming up, I wanted to give something away that would be a perfect gift for any little girl you may know. What’s better than a Disney movie?
My daughter loves “TinkerBell,” and although she’s been pretty modernized, I love that she is a classic Disney character.
Craft Boutique Preview
Did you survive Thanksgiving? I hope you had lots of time to spend with your family and relax. I did lots of both and truly enjoyed the holiday. We took the kids to an apple orchard, celebrated Lincoln’s first Thanksgiving, and the Mr. and I watched a ton of Grey’s Anatomy on Netflix. Thank God for holidays and time off!

Ready to do some shopping?? It’s Cyber Monday! Here are some of the deals happening today:

Happy Thanksgiving!
It’s sort of sad that we need a holiday to remind us to stop and say thanks for all we have, but I for one am grateful that we do. Otherwise, the busyness of my everyday would most definitely keep me from remembering that I am so beyond blessed and so unworthy of all God has given me. So today, of all days, I want to stop and take stock.
DIY gifts for grandparents
It’s no secret – grandparents love pictures of their grandkids. But there’s no reason to give them an album for every holiday when there are so many creative ideas out there for sentimental gifts they are sure to love.
Here are some of my favorite (and on my list this year to DIY):
DIY gifts for baby
Christmas is approaching and it’s time to pull out all the stops to make some awesome and affordable DIY gifts! I love giving handmade gifts for the holidays; it’s thoughtful and unique, and helps me stay on budget during such an expensive time of year.
WIWW: Singing (& layering) in the rain
Hooray for rain! After an extra-long, extra-hot summer in SoCal, things are finally starting to cool off. Last week we welcomed some rain, and we are supposed to get some more this weekend. I couldn’t be happier!
You know I pulled out all the stops on this rainy day – boots, tights, layering thermal. If I had played a game of strip poker (which, I never would, of course), I would have totally still been fully clothed at the end.
