I just returned from a monumental Target shopping trip. It was monumental for 2 reasons: (1) I only bought what I had on my list (perhaps a first?) – all of which I had at least one coupon for, and (2) I purchased all this stuff for only $26.49.
Thanks to some of my favorite money-saving ladies like Moneysavingmom.com and Passionforsavings.com, I found out about these great deals with double couponing and ran to Target before they were sold out (which tends to happen).
Here’s how you can get the same deals:

$3/1 Candyland/Memory/Chutes & Ladders Target coupon (print 2x to get 2 games)
Regular price: $6.99
Final cost: $0.99
Candyland Game
$3/1 Candyland/Memory/Chutes & Ladders coupon (print 2x to get 2 games)
$3/1 Candyland/Memory/Chutes & Ladders Target coupon (print 2x to get 2 games)
Regular price: $7.79
Final cost: $1.79
I only purchased the Disney DVD because my daughter is obsessed with “Toy Story 3” and she’s asked for every day since it’s been taken off streaming Netflix… I thought $14.99 was an excellent price for a Disney DVD since they are usually close to $25.
There were lots of other candy deals if you check out the Target coupons; I purchased the Sour Patch Kids as a gift for someone for Easter (unless I eat them first…).
The games and Play-doh set are perfect for my stash of gifts. This way when a birthday party comes along, I’ll have something ready to give.
The only downside to this trip? The popcorn machine was broken. Let’s be honest, that’s really what I was looking forward to.
