Hello, friends!
I must admit, I have had these big elaborate ideas for blog posts lately, but can’t seem to make them happen. Pregnancy has left me tired, nauseous, and headachey (that’s not a word…). So please accept this small attempt at posting as something real and worthwhile!
For the past few years, I have thrown a New Year’s Eve party with our closest friends and their kiddos. Since we were living in CA at the time, we would celebrate an East Coast New Year’s at 9:00 p.m. so the kids didn’t have to stay up so late (the internet is a wonderful thing that allows you to watch the ball drop at 9:00 p.m.). Now that we’re in Colorado, the kids have to make it to 10:00 p.m. because of the time difference. We’ll see how that goes…
Anyway, I always print out these questionnaires from Thirty Handmade Days for the kids and parents to fill out at the party. It’s a great way to get you thinking about resolutions and what kind of year you want to have. After all – intention is a powerful thing!
Mique makes a new version every year and puts it up for free on her blog. Aren’t we lucky? It’s so fun to look back and see what you and the kids wrote down the year before; especially when they are as young as mine.
Head on over and download yours so you’re prepped and ready to ring in the new year tomorrow!
