You might recall a couple of weeks ago when I highlighted some menswear looks for the all the pregos out there, since menswear continues to be a big trend going into spring. Well, I decided to take my own advice and put together a dude-ish look for myself utilizing some items I already had and a new boot purchase (because, well, I love boots and you can never really have enough).
I purchased the boots that I highlighted in this post on sale at Old Navy for under $30 (right now, depending on the color, they are even cheaper!). I am smitten. I can’t wait to wear them with tights and a spring dress! I’ve still got my eye on those black loafers, because with some black cigarette pants and a blouse… forget it.
I already had this plaid chiffon shirt from Target, which I have always loved. It’s always had a loose fit for a laid-back look, which is super helpful right now since my belly keeps expanding. All in all, this outfit was comfy and casual and just what I needed to get out of my fashion rut.
Also, you’ll be happy to know that I figured out how to set a delay on my camera remote so that I can push the button and then hide it before the shutter closes… much better than last week’s shoot where I was basically pointing it right at the camera. It’s the little things…
