Merry Christmas! I realize I’m a day late on that, but I was so busy Christmas Eve and Christmas day that I didn’t get a chance to wish you all a happy holiday. I didn’t want to take time away from my family and you probably were too busy with yours to be reading blogs anyway!
Today for What I Wore Wednesday, I thought I’d share my favorite new dress that I wore for a couple of holiday festivities. I sported it to my work Christmas dinner and also to church. The best part? It was only $25 at Target – major win. This is one of those dresses that looks way more expensive (and probably better in quality) than it actually is. It also came in navy and white, but the lace in those colors looked cheap to me. The green was nice and rich. I knew right away that black tights and my patent black belt were going to accompany it. After that, it was a game of styling.
I played for a while, trying to decide between flats and boots. I eventually went with the boots for a little more casual look.
Boots: Payless
My daughter wanted to show off her Christmas dress too, so I taught her how to pose for the camera (pop that hip!).
Somehow I managed to get the entire family in a shot together after church. Amazing.
