Have you heard? Jason Wu is releasing a line for Target available for purchase on February 5th! I recently mentioned how much I have loved Jason Wu ever since he designed Michelle Obama’s stunning white dress for the Inaugural Ball back in 2009, and I loved seeing designers wearing him at this past Sunday’s Golden Globe awards. Now his feminine, modern style will be hitting Target stores at extremely affordable prices.
The Jason Wu for Target line will consist of limited-edition women’s apparel, handbags, and scarves ranging from $19.99 – $59.99. Wu says the line was inspired by the vision of an American girl in Paris, and has a bit of mod ’60s feel. I am in love with, um, just about all of it!
Wu told The Today Show‘s Ann Curry just this morning, “I think American women are telling us that they want beautiful clothes… They want something that is versatile, something that is quite timeless and something that they can enjoy for not just one season.” You said it, sir.
Wu also said he imagined his collection is for women who are a “little mischievous, a little nonchalant.” Now that description makes me want to wear the clothes. Don’t you want to be a little mischievous and a little nonchalant with me?
Here are some of my favorite looks from his upcoming line at Target:

Dots, stripes, and tiny florals – oh my! Give me a floral saddlebag and a striped shirt and I’m a happy girl.
