Bwaaaaahh! It’s the weekend before Christmas – even scarier, it’s 4 days until Christmas! Yesterday I found myself scrambling for last minute gift ideas to give to neighbors, friends, and teachers. Clearly, I did not plan ahead…
But if you’re in the same boat, don’t worry! I found some great last-minute ideas that you DIY in a couple of hours. They won’t add much more to your (most likely) depleted Christmas budget, but they are still full of love and super cute.
1. Pocket warmers
If you live in a cold climate, DIY pocket warmers like these from fellowfellow.com make a thoughtful gift that is easy to make.
2. DIY dish towels
Got some fabric paint on hand? Make some of these dishtowels from Homemadeginger.com
Have some scraps to use up? Make these patchwork towels from sew4home.com
Pick up some wooden spoons, utensils, or hot pads in the $1 section at Target or JoAnn’s and you’ve got a great gift! Dish towels are super cheap, too, by the way – check Target or the Dollar Tree.
3. Herb in a mug
This is both thoughtful and simple! I would totally love to get one of these mugs seen on agirlwhomakes.com
4. Sewn paper candy pouch
Hide some sweet treats inside of these fun paper pouches from pepperminplum.blogspot.com! They cost virtually nothing to make, and kids will especially love them.
5. Felt coffee cozy
You could whip one of these up in probably 15 minutes! It would be extra cute around an empty cup with a coffee shop gift card inside. { from purlbee.com }
6. Button sugar cookies
These button cookies from delish.com really up the ante on giving baked goods. They are so cute and probably quite delicious.
7. DIY washi tape candles
This is about as simple a gift as you can make: wrap some washi tape around a clear tea light. Done. { from lebenlustiger.com }
Washi tape and candle holders from the Dollar Tree – perfection! { from sbchic.com }

See? There was no reason to panic! You have all weekend to whip up some of these awesome gifts. Now get to work!
