Milk & Cookie birthday party theme

March 2, 2012

A few weeks ago, I posted pictures from my daughter's 2nd vintage circus birthday party, and it made me think about all the hard work and energy I put into her 1st birthday party. I threw that party before I started blogging on The Mombot, so I thought I would backtrack and share some images from her milk & cookies themed party.

Unfortunately I had one of those “noooooo!” computer moments about a year ago where I lost several personal photos thanks to a harddrive crash... so the images I have of the party are limited. Thankfully, I was able to find some of them in other folders, so all was not lost. Here's what I was able to salvage:

The table was full of yummy cookies of every kind in cookies jars and on glass cake stands. I made labels for each one. I wish I had a better photo!

I also made a vertical banner with a picture from each month of the last year. It was so fun to compare them and see how she's grown!

To keep the cost down for the party, I made all the decorations myself and had family help make the cookies. Read about my other secrets to throwing a party for cheap in this post.
