The Christmas season is a great time to gather the kids together and do some crafting; especially if you live in a cold climate where snow keeps you indoors and on the verge of insanity. Not only can you have fun with your kids and keep them occupied for a bit, but you can get some help in putting together holiday gifts and home décor – no harm in putting them to work every now and then!
Here are some of my favorite kid’s Christmas crafts from the queen herself, Martha Stewart.
It’s time for another installment in our “Holidays with Martha” series. Who can pull together some fancy side dishes better than Miss Martha? Here are some of my top picks from Martha’s arsenal:
I really love Martha Stewart. Really. The lady is super-crafty, knows her way around the kitchen, and loves to boss people around and tell them when they’re doing things wrong on television. It’s hilarious.
I put together some Easter baskets for the kids of our closest friends and wanted to give them a little handmade goodie. I stumbled upon a tutorial for chick beanbags at MarthaStewart.com, and loved how easy they looked and how adorable they were. They ended up being really simple and I was able to use scraps of fabric that I already had.
They would be perfect to decorate your house with for spring, or to give as gifts to kids. Check out the tutorial over at MarthaStewart.com.
