I am soooo excited to share some news with you! For the past few months, I have been working hard on creating a new website and I’m finally sharing it with the world today!
So without further ado, I present ITriedAPin.com: A Resource for Obsessive Pinners.
I decided a while back that I wanted a way to categorize the pins that I had tried and how well they had worked. Have you ever wondered whether vinegar really performed all the miracles that numerous pins claim it does? Or if that 50 calorie cookie was really any good and worth a try?
I not only wanted a way to keep tracks of my reviews for my own purpose, but I wanted to hear from others who had tried it too. I found that many times I thought perhaps I had done something wrong and wondered if it was working for anyone else.
Plus, having a platform to keep track of the pins I had tried would hopefully encourage me to try more of them instead of having them get lost in my pinboards, as I so often do. Lord knows I’ve pinned something that I thought looked awesome and slightly familiar, and then realized later on that it was because I had already pinned it to the same board 3 times in the last 3 months… oops.
But I digress… back to the website.
I Tried A Pin gives me the opportunity to rate a pin with a “It’s a Win!,” “Meh,” or “It’s a Dud” rating, share my thoughts on it, and then share whether I changed something in the process or if I would try something differently next time around.
The website is still in its early stages, and there will be much more to come, including a guest submission form so you can share your own reviews, a voting system so you can see how well a pin worked for the entire community of readers, and a Featured Pinner spot where you might see your own pretty face and profile featured!
So please join in the fun with me! Read reviews, share your comments, and send me your submissions. Let’s save each other some time and energy by trying pins and sharing verdicts!
If you want to follow the fun on Pinterest, I have a pinboard dedicated to my review of pins { here }
And I’m also on Twitter and Facebook if you would like to follow there too.
And a big thanks and lots of hugs and kisses to my patient husband, the amazing web developer who spent many late nights building the site and putting up with my obnoxious demands. I love him dearly and couldn’t do what I do without him!
