As you know, I try to recycle, reduce, and reuse as much as possible. Not only does it save money, but it creates a cleaner, safer environment for our kids and future generations to live in. I’m not super crazy when it comes to going green, but I think there are simple, practical ways that everybody can make small changes in their life.

Reusable snack baggies:
Simple to make, and would save me so much money on plastic baggies since I’m constantly putting snacks in them for my daughter!

Spraypainted cans:
Instead of throwing out cans, why not spraypaint them and use them as planters? It’s a great way to recycle, and these colorful planters would look so adorable in a kitchen or on a windowsill.
