I don’t know about you, but my husband loves himself some baseball. As luck would have it, so do I, and we have lots of happy memories of attending Dodger games together (most of them before we had kids).
This year for Father’s Day, I thought it would be fun to put together a little baseball voucher gift so that we can attend a game together just like the good ol’ days. The ones I made him are Dodger themed, but I made some generic ones for you all to download and print (see below) in case you wanted to give your man the gift of a day at the local ballpark for Father’s Day!
You can either buy tickets to an actual game, or just include the ticket voucher in this package so that he can pick a day that works for him. There are also vouchers for a hot dog, 2 drinks, and a food of choice, plus a matching envelope. I will probably be going to the game with my husband, so I fully intend on making him hand me the vouchers at the park! But I thought it would be cute, because I will be willing to get up and buy the food for him so he can relax and enjoy the game (I know, I’m an awesome wife).
Of course the sneaky part here is that I can also control how much is spent at the game with my vouchers (since we’re on a strict cash budget these days)! (insert evil laugh here) Even if you don’t attend the game with your man, the vouchers will help you estimate how much money you will need and you can make your husband trade his vouchers for cash prior to the game.
Sorry this is coming so close to Father’s Day, but I’m sure there are other procrastinators out there other than myself – right??
