A couple of months ago, I was putting together my “6 Valentine’s Day Dresses under $30” post, and came across this adorable little mint dress with black peter pan collar – it was love at first site. I bought the dress, but already had something to wear for Valentine’s Day, so I stuck it in my closet for a special occasion.
Then a couple of weeks ago, I attended the Blissdom conference in Dallas, TX and took this little number along to wear for Girl’s Night Out. I was definitely a little too dressed up (attire was apparently more “club” and I was a little more “date night”), but oh well. I love this dress and I feel good in it, so who cares!
I would love to say that I was hip to the trend when I purchased this dress, but I didn’t find out that mint was going to be a big color for spring until after I bought it. Call it a happy coincidence (or divine intervention – because clearly God has nothing better to do than help steer my fashion choices).
So while I love my mint georgette dress, I am also eyeing some of the pretty pastel pieces below. Mint and spring really do go hand-in-hand, don’t you think?
P.S. True to form here on The Mombot, none of these will break the bank, and they’re definitely worth the seasonal investment.
