I was recently browsing through Madewell’s newest spring line and came across these adorable printed floral jeans. I thought to myself, “those are cute, I wish I had them.” Then it suddenly dawned on me that, duh, I do have floral printed jeans that I bought at Target about 6 months ago. Hooray!
I decided that this casual spring look would be simple to recreate, and thanks to Target it would be much cheaper, too. Madewell’s printed jeans come in at a whopping $89.50, while these jeans from Target cost me closer to $30. Sad fact, these are actually full-length jeans, but because I’m so tall they fit as ankle pants… oh well, apparently I am on trend! (As you’ll notice below, I’m still rockin the half-tuck)
Printed denim was big this fall and is continuing on into spring; especially when it comes to florals. You’ll be seeing it in denim vests (yikes!), shorts, and jeans. Be brave and pick some up in a print you love! If you’re still a little iffy, try something subtle like polka dot denim (like these jeans from Target).
