Mixing stripes & florals

I am officially on the hunt for a striped top and full floral skirt. These pics gave me all the inspiration and motivation I needed:

Mixing prints has always been a favorite of mine, and this look screams feminine. So I went on the virtual hunt for some items to mimic these looks, and here's what I came up with:

I think I'm sold on outfit #1. Particularly because I already own the shirt (bonus!) and the skirt is on sale. It doesn't get much better than that.

Tip: When mixing stripes & florals, don't go too overboard with your prints. If your florals are tiny and busy, go for a top that has wide stripes (#1 & #3). If your floral print is large in size or spread out, you can wear smaller, close-set stripes (#2).
