Since I’m a bit of a reality show junkie, I’m very familiar with Lauren Conrad (or, “LC,” if you’re cool like me). Her rise to fame began with the MTV reality show Laguna Beach, followed by her own spin off, The Hills. Now Lauren designs several different clothing lines; one for Kohl’s, which I’m a big fan of, and a new line that just debuted called paper crown.
Paper crown is definitely more high-end, and is being sold in stores like Nordstrom, Ron Herman, Fred Segal, and Planet Blue. With most of the separates costing around $100-300, it is (unfortunately) a bit out of my price range. But, oh, how a girl can dream… paper crown is described as a collection for those who “like to play dress up in a grown up world.” Yes, please!
Here’s some of the pieces I’m drooling over:
The paper crown line is comprised of maxis, cocktail attire, menswear inspired pieces, and tailored basics. I love the simplicity of the pieces and the neutral color palette. I feel like I could mix and match these pieces and be dressed appropriately for just about any occasion. Now if I could just triple my spending budget… hmmm.
Are you loving her new line? I’m hooked.
