{ purchase in my Etsy shop } I’m extremely excited to be debuting a whole new product in my shop. For quite a while now, I’ve been brainstorming, designing, researching, researching and researching to learn how to create long-lasting wire-bound scrapbooks/journals. This project (and really this entire “Capture the Little Moments” series) came from my…
I’m so excited to be hosting Candace Moss today, owner and creator of Mom and Pop Photo School. As a photography instructor and also a mom, Candace knows what it takes to get the perfect photos of your kids. But after years of experience, she also knows that not every photo will be perfect, and as moms, we tend to hold ourselves to an awfully high standard!
It’s almost February 1, which means our “Capture the Little Moments” challenge is about to begin! Each day in the month of February, I am challenging all participants to take at least one photo a day. Why? To get you in the habit of documenting life as it is, capturing the little moments you often forget about and bettering your photography skills.
This past weekend we finally had Mia’s 4th birthday party, even though her birthday was a couple of weeks ago. I think she prefers it that way, though, since it feels like we are celebrating her all month long! I started planning weeks ago (see my inspiration board here), but didn’t get to everything because…
I’m so tired, you guys. Like really, I am sitting here thinking, “It would be so nice to crawl into bed and close my eyes.” And if you saw my recent DIY desk post, you know that my computer is in my bedroom, just feet from my bed. It would be so easy to just tip-toe over there…
If only I didn’t have two kids to watch. Where’s a nanny when you need one?
Friends, I don’t often make resolutions – probably because I know I will just break them. But this year, I have already committed to (without really planning on it being a “resolution”) learning new things. I took a step back from a job that I had been doing for the past 5 years so that…
Our bedroom has this odd nook that is quite deep and narrow. Although it’s a strange size, I was weirdly excited when I first saw it, knowing that I could create something great in that small space.
Can you believe that we’ll be ushering in 2014 tonight? Where has the year gone? I can’t believe all that happened this year and all that I’ve accomplished! Although the blog slowed down quite a bit – both because of a big move to Colorado in July/August and because I began focusing more on growing my Etsy shop – I’ve still been so blessed by all the traffic I’ve had and my loyal readers.
In case you didn’t get a glimpse of our Christmas card on Facebook or Instagram, we used it to share a bit of Taylor family news.
2014 will bring another beautiful child to our family! We are very excited and still trying to wrap our heads around it. Baby #3 was discussed several times and we knew that if we were going to do it, we wanted to do it soon so that the kids were all close in age. However, the pregnancy came out of nowhere and was not exactly planned – oops!
I can’t believe that Christmas is in just a couple of days. Does it seem like the past month just flew by to anyone else? I swear Thanksgiving was yesterday. Of course, leave it to me to get a cold two days before Christmas. I’m all stuffed up and that should make for a fun holiday… but I digress.
