I’ve been so crazy-busy lately with the launch of I Tried A Pin, prepping for a local craft boutique (sneak peek to come – I may put some of the leftovers up in my Etsy shop after the boutique!), and crafting up some Christmas gifts… Oh yeah, and taking care of two kids, working part time, paying bills, grocery shopping, cooking, and freelancing. But hey, that’s nothing right? I’m sure your list is just as long as mine! We moms be crazy.
Anywayyyy, I have some fun Thankgiving and Christmas posts coming up – including more DIY gift ideas. I get tons of traffic on my previous DIY gift posts, so I decided as long as you’re reading them, I’ll just keep posting them! I am super passionate about giving handmade, money-conscious gifts, so I’m glad that the posts have been so well received. Stay tuned for more ideas and prepare yourself to craft!
In the meantime, I continue to be utterly amazed at the craftiness in the world of the interwebs. These bloggers inspire and astound me. And unfortunately they make me want to DIY everything they do, which I just don’t have time for! Even still, if you find an old wooden buffet in the trash, call me…

Someone make me these, please. Succulents are the only plant I can keep alive, so these are right up my alley.
