My husband and I plan on spending this weekend building this coffee table with plans from the amazing Ana White. If you’ve ever been interested in building your own furniture, Ana has tons of plans and instructions on her website.
I want our table to look pretty similar to the one above, except I think we will be using regular rubber casters because steel ones are so expensive! I did extensive research online, and couldn’t find any below $12 per piece. $12 x 4 wheels plus shipping just isn’t in our budget… So instead, I will probably be picking up some 5″ casters from Harbor Freight Tools for only $6.99 a piece.
We recently sold our jogging stroller to pay for this table, so we have $65 to spend. Do you think we can do it? I’m bound and determined to make it work!
Nothing in our house is too fancy since we’ve got kids running around (and our toddler is slightly destructive…), so I think this coffee table will fit right in. We haven’t had one in several years, and I can’t wait to finally have somewhere to put my drink and my feet! I also love that this table already looks worn in so I don’t have to worry about it getting too ruined, and that it’s low enough for my daughter to sit at to color and craft.
What are you making this weekend?
