The 4th will be here next week, and I’m just getting around to doing some decorating (blame the new baby). I started searching the web for ideas and got really inspired by this nautical themed display from Andersruff.com:
Is it not amazing? I do believe I will be stealing lots of ideas from this photo. They also sell printables from this display in their shop for only $10.
While looking for wreath ideas, I fell in love with this pinwheel wreath from Craftomaniac.com:
I also liked this paper cone wreath, because I am fairly certain I can put it together quickly and already have the supplies (always a plus) – and the kids can even help since it’s so simple (from FamilyFun.go.com):
If you’re planning on having a party and want a game to play (or even if you just want to do it with the family), here are some awesome 4th of July Bingo cards that you can download for free from makoodle.com!
I was also on the lookout for a banner to make for my entryway, and couldn’t decide between these two:
The first is on the West Elm website, although they are actually just selling the wood shelf. The second is from DecorToAdore.blogspot.com. I wonder if they sell hankies at the Dollar Tree?
And finally, amidst all the yummy recipes on Pinterest for the 4th of July, I decided to bring these Patriotic Pudding Cups from LilLuna.com to the party we are attending. Yummo!
