As I hit the 5-month mark in my pregnancy, I’m figuring out how best to dress my body. One thing I’ve observed: loose fitting shirts/dresses make me look shapeless and less pregnant (not pretty). So my solution? A belt!
Placing a skinny belt right under my bust and above my bump adds definition in just the right spot. It increases the size of my bump so I don’t look βsort ofβ pregnant, and gives some shape back to my body. Obviously the curves I used to have around my waist are gone, so the belt helps add a little curve back in, even though it’s in a different area. I like looking down and seeing my little bump instead of a big shapeless blob!
Here are two outfits where I’ve incorporated the belt. It helps, don’t you think?
