I’m totally obsessing over this DIY project that I came across on Apartment Therapy this week. And by obsessing, I mean, I actually dreamt about it. I’ve got it bad, people.
It’s a simple, yet revolutionary idea… a storage tray for books on wheels. It’s simply made of a piece of wood and some casters and scoots right under a side table. It’s a perfect, out-of-the-way place for me to stash my magazines that I can’t bear to part with (and will perhaps finally read, one day). Oh, how I love turning disorder into organized decor!

The thing I love the most is that it’s neon. I’ve mentioned how I’m totally loving pops of neon these days (it’s one of the latest trends, don’t you know?). I’m not sure neon pink will go with my dΓ©cor, but perhaps another neon hue is in order.
I’m going to head to Home Depot this weekend to make this DIY happen. I already know those casters are only a couple of bucks a piece, since I used similar ones in my son’s nursery. And if I check the pre-cut wood bin, perhaps I’ll get lucky and find something I can use for cheap. He! He! He! (that’s my excited craft nerd laugh escaping)
