Soooo, I’m not really sure how this happened. I wasn’t trying to find any of these things; I didn’t seek out any sales. I swear.
In the last week and a half, I aquired all three of these items for $15.
The white cabinet was completely free; I found it curbside in my girlfriend’s neighborhood. Sure, it’s covered in dust and dog hair, but nothing that a good cleaning won’t fix. Unfortunately I have nowhere to put it at the moment, but I am thinking that when our daughter transitions to a big girl room in the next year or so and we move her changing table/cabinet into the new nursery (God-willing), this piece will make a cute replacement. I am even thinking of lining the top shelf on the hutch with some fun fabric to give it a little somethin-somethin.
I snatched up the frame at a random garage sale for $3. That’s a crazy good deal considering it’s 22″ by 28″. I have big plans for this baby. I am planning on spray painting it (not sure of the color yet) and doing one of two things… Either I fill it with corkboard covered in burlap and hang it in my office area à la this picture:

The bedside table was aquired just today at a huge yard sale for $12 (I talked him down from $15; aren’t you impressed with my bargaining skills??). I’ve been wanting to find something just like this for our bedroom! This puppy will be sanded and painted with a white semi-gloss. It’s really sturdy, so I think it will last us a good long while. My inspiration was this Pottery Barn table (a mere $399):
I am feeling pretty good about my new purchases. My husband, on the other hand, said he’s going to need to call “Hoarders” pretty soon. Oops.
