You may remember how a few weeks back I mentioned my trip to Denver, CO and how we would soon be moving there.
Well, now it’s official. We’ve found a place, signed the paperwork and are set to move in around August 1. This isn’t just moving down the street; this is a big, serious move two states away with all of our belongings and two kids under the age of 4. Yikes.
Are you ready for party picture overload? Cause it’s about to happen.
For Lincoln’s 1st birthday, I decided on a slightly unconventional theme. I’m not sure where I got it, I think I saw something on Pinterest a while back that sparked the idea and then I just ran with it.
A few weeks ago, I posted about how my 3 1/2 year old was giving me a run for my money at mealtime { see here }. Refusing to eat, throwing fits, “hating” everything. Ugh.
You’ve got two days to finish prepping for Father’s Day! If you need a card, a last-minute gift, or just want to add something personal to what you already bought dad, why not include a Father’s Day questionnaire filled out by the kids? There are so many great free printable Father’s Day questionnaires floating around…
I’m either an awesome, crafty parent or a really crappy one. It depends on how you look at.
I made a bunch of DIY gifts for Mia’s Preschool teachers this year, and while I got “ooo’s” and “ahhh’s,” from them and “how do you find the time?”, only I knew that I had whipped them up last minute and DIYing was the best I could come up with…
Still stumped on what to get dad for Father’s Day? You would think it would be easy, but sometimes coming up with the perfect gift for a man can drive me nuts. I always want to come up with something special, and I usually overthink it; which then leads to procrastination… which is why I have yet to get anything for my husband for Father’s Day. Oops.
So I gathered up some ideas for items that I know he would like. I’m pretty sure that he would be thrilled with any of these picks, so I’m not sure why I make it so hard on myself.
Hello, friends! After a long, busy weekend of traveling, I am finally home and have gotten a spare moment to write. Our trip to Colorado was tiring, but I feel so excited and content with our upcoming move. We found some areas we really love and are hoping to find available housing there in the coming months; at which point we will pack up and take off!
I have totally neglected the blog this week. Truth be told, I am out-of-my-mind busy and I haven’t had a spare moment. In fact, I shouldn’t be taking the time to write this now… I should be finishing up some work, packing and making lunch.
But I’m feeling sorry for my little blog. So here I sit, writing.
Um… why do toddlers hate food? I know from conversations with other moms that I am not alone in the nightly battle over eating dinner (and sometimes breakfast and lunch)… but I am at a complete loss as to how to deal with it.
