This week went by soooo fast. I’m sort of dreading tomorrow, because we have to take all three kids to get flu shots… kill me, now. My boys won’t be bad, but my girl… holy moly. We about had DEFCON 5 two years ago when she got the nasal spray vaccine – NASAL SPRAY, PEOPLE. We walked out of the doctor’s office and she was crying uncontrollably and everyone around us was saying, “Oh, it’s ok, honey.” And I wanted to yell out, “She only got the nasal spray! SHE’S FINE!” Hello, mom of the year. Anyway, since there are no nasal spray vaccines this year, tomorrow will likely be the worst day of 2016 for all of us. Pray for me, friends.
Aside from the impending doom of the flu clinic, I’ve got a few other weekend goals as well.
Here we go:
1. First thing’s first. (image source)
2. Do some fall baking. I’m craving apple pie, and after the flu clinic, I will deserve it. (image source)
3. Clean out my closet to make room for some of the new goodies I bought. I’m thinking about having one last garage sale in the morning before it gets too cold, but also I’m thinking that’s going to suck.
4. Figure out where in my house I can put an old church pew. And then find one. (yes, this is legitimately on my list…) (image source)
Happy Weekend!
