I love a good, cheap leatherette (faux leather) jacket. They last you a season or two, and they’re usually under $50. One day I’ll splurge on an awesome $250 leather jacket that I can wear for years, but for now, my budget loves leatherette.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that looking great is about more than just what you wear. It has to do with confidence, attitude, comfortability… If you ever struggle with how you look (I’m pretty sure that’s every woman), then read through these tips to help you find confidence in your wardrobe.
Remember when ankle boots became popular a few years ago? Well, they’re still a fashion “do,” but they’ve gotten quite a makeover this season. This fall and winter you’re going to find ankle boots in more styles than ever. Here’s a couple of types to try:
So I did it. I totally bought the faux leather leggings I was eyeing at H&M (actually they’re a bit different than the ones I first picked out, but also half the price). Are they practical? For a mom of a toddler who works from home, maybe not so much… but who cares when they only cost $12.95?
This weekend I raided some local vintage stores to put together a 1960s-themed costume that channels the show Mad Men. Although Halloween is coming up, I actually have a different reason for getting all dolled up… On Sunday, October 9, the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor and Convention Bureau is hosting the OC Blogger Bash for all…
I am happy to say that I marked one thing off of my “what I wish I was wearing this fall” list. Colored jeans – Check! I went to Old Navy this weekend and used a variety of coupons to get these $35 jeggings for $20. Yeah, I just said jeggings.
I’m super excited to be guest posting today over on the Anaheim/OC Visitor and Convention Bureau website (that’s a mouthful). As a SoCal native, I figured I would give anyone traveling to Orange County in September/October a heads up: It is not fall here. It is 90 degrees. Do not pack sweaters; I repeat, do not pack sweaters.
For some ideas on what to wear this fall in the OC (for both men and women), check out the article.
First, my name is Amy and I’m obsessed with cowboy boots. I think 90% of the reason I watched Friday Night Lights was to see what dress Tami Taylor would wear with her cowboy boots next. I secretly want to move to Texas, just so I can wear cowboy boots everyday. I don’t like country music or cowboy hats – just the boots, please.
What I should be posting today is a picture of me in something cute for “What I Wore Wednesday.” But it’s been a while since this little lady got her shop on… So instead, I decided to showcase some of my favorite fall trends; the things on my “to buy” list (whether they actually get purchased or not is yet to be seen, but I can still drool over them).
