Lately my daughter has been REALLY into coloring. It took forever for her to finally show some interest in it, but we are finally there. Being a graphic designer and a super crafty and artistic kid myself, I am loving her new creative side (especially because it keeps her still and occupied for more than 5 minutes).
So I recently ran across these adorable free printable coloring sheets for kids – both from the same talented graphic designer – and knew that I had to print them out for Mia. They equal parts clever and cute. The fact that Mia will need to fill in existing spaces gives her the opportunity to focus on something specific instead of just mindlessly coloring blotches. Don’t get me wrong – her blotches are lovely, but I can only hang some many of them on the fridge…

These will give her a chance to focus on her motor skills, concentration and imagination all at once. Win!
Plus, I’m kind of partial to the robots due to my lovely little lady at the top of this blog.
Go check out Jamey’s adorable blog, Dabbles & Babbles, and download these sheets while you’re there!
