WIWW: 34 weeks & a baby shower!

This past weekend I was lucky enough to be showered with love and gifts from some of my friends and family. Our baby boy, Lincoln, was spoiled like crazy and received lots of adorable little boy things!

Since it was a party, I took the opportunity to actually get myself dolled up, which was fun considering the challenge of dressing my large belly.

Here's what I wore:

• Striped dress: Gap Maternity $50
• Lace cami: JCPenney $10
• Belt: H&M $12
• Sandals: Madden Girl (can't recall the price... it was a couple years ago)

In my hair, I wore a black ruffle clip/fascinator that I made. I got lots of compliments, so I guess I'll have to do a tutorial soon! I don't do well with headbands; they always look weird on me and give me a headache, so this clip was the perfect solution.

Here are a couple of shots from my shower. My mother-in-law did all the decorations, including the gorgeous cupcakes!

 

Can you see how excited I am to be having a boy?? This sweet homemade onesie has his initials.
